… a City set on a Hill that cannot be hid. A place of refuge, rest and refreshing; where living waters flow continually …
Living Spring started on October 11, 1998, in a hotel in Philadelphia. Four people were in attendance, two adults and two children. Today the church has grown and planted churches across the states of Pennsylvania, Delaware, Southern New Jersey, Kentucky, West Virginia and the nation of Trinidad and Tobago. There are over 40 churches in the Living Spring family. We believe that the preaching of the word of God in the power of the Holy Spirit is the only way to transform lives meaningfully in line with their God given purpose.
At Living Spring we are passionate about sharing the love of Jesus through community and mission work. We have given away, thousands of pounds of grade A groceries during our monthly Harvest Program to families at risk of undernourishment; high quality winter Coats to Pre K children; provide approximately four thousand hot meals annually to the homeless in the city of Philadelphia in partnership with other agencies, offer free medical screenings in partnership with Mercy Health, Partners with Franklin Institute Philadelphia’s NASA sponsored program ‘City Skies’ aimed at exposing city people to astronomy. Free SAT helps, science camps, subsidized summer camps in real math and reading, basketball camp and lots of community enrichment activities. On the international scene, the church has provided boreholes in Trukana, Northern Kenya and sponsored medical missions to Kenya and Trinidad.
This week Living Spring takes a giant leap forward as its New Campus in Linwood Pennsylvania is formally opened. This new Multi-million dollar facility provides Living Spring with a facility that can house all its services with greater effectiveness and convenience. With the dedication by the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Pastor E.A. Adeboye, Living Spring is ramping up resources to becoming a greater blessing in the provision of spiritual, charitable, educational, community and mission services to communities far and near. We will fulfill our mandate.
