1. Children’s Ministry (Pre-K – 8th Grade)

Role Purpose: Teach, guide, and care for children, helping them develop a strong biblical foundation in a fun and engaging environment.

Key Characteristics:

• Patient and Kind: Able to handle the energy and needs of children with patience and a nurturing attitude.
• Creative and Engaging: Uses creativity to make biblical teachings fun and age-appropriate through games, activities, and storytelling.
• Good Communicator: Able to explain biblical concepts simply and clearly to children of different ages.
• Energetic: Keeps up with the physical demands of interacting with young children, maintaining enthusiasm throughout.
• Child-Centered: Focused on creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where each child feels valued.
• Organized: Able to manage classroom settings, ensuring structure while allowing for fun and interactive learning.
• Trustworthy: Parents need to trust that their children are in safe hands, so being dependable and responsible is crucial.

2. Teenage Ministry (Ages 13 – 19)

Role Purpose: Mentor, guide, and disciple teenagers, helping them navigate life’s challenges while building strong faith and leadership skills.

Key Characteristics:

• Relational and Approachable: Able to connect with teenagers on a personal level, fostering trust and openness.
• Good Listener: Provides a safe space for teens to share their thoughts and struggles without judgment.
• Encouraging Mentor: Inspires teens to grow spiritually and develop their leadership skills, helping them find their identity in Christ.
• Culturally Aware: Understands the challenges teens face today, such as peer pressure, social media, and mental health, and addresses these issues through a biblical lens.
• Strong Leader: Provides guidance and sets a positive example for teens to follow, both in their personal and spiritual lives.
• Flexible and Adaptable: Able to adjust to the changing dynamics of working with teens, addressing their spiritual and emotional needs in real-time.
• Biblically Knowledgeable: Well-grounded in scripture, able to help teens deepen their faith and navigate life’s challenges with a Christian worldview.

These characteristics focus on building strong, positive relationships with children and teens, providing spiritual guidance, and creating a safe and fun learning environment where they can grow in their faith.
