Join the Education & Development Cluster at Living Spring and help foster spiritual growth in our community! Whether you’re involved with Sunday School, Membership Class, Bible College, School of Discipleship, or Training, your contributions will empower individuals to deepen their faith and knowledge. Together, we can equip our church family for a life of purpose and service!

Here are the key characteristics for volunteers in the Education & Development Cluster, which includes Sunday School, Membership Class, Bible College, School of Discipleship, and Training:

1. Sunday School

Role Purpose: Teach and engage children or adults in biblical lessons and foster a love for learning about faith.

Key Characteristics:

  • Passionate Educator: Committed to teaching and sharing biblical knowledge.
  • Patient and Understanding: Able to work with diverse learning styles and paces.
  • Creative: Develops engaging lesson plans and activities to captivate learners.

2. Membership Class

Role Purpose: Provide new members with an understanding of the church’s beliefs, values, and practices.

  • Knowledgeable: Well-versed in the church’s mission, values, and beliefs.
  • Good Listener: Attentively addresses questions and concerns from new members.

3. Bible College

Role Purpose: Offer in-depth biblical education to equip individuals for leadership and ministry.

  • Theologically Sound: Strong understanding of biblical teachings and principles.
  • Mentoring Skills: Provides guidance and support to students in their spiritual growth.
  • Strong Communicator: Effectively conveys complex theological concepts.
  • Committed to Development: Focuses on the growth of students both academically and spiritually.
  • Resourceful: Knows how to access and utilize various educational materials.

4. School of Discipleship

Role Purpose: Foster spiritual growth and maturity through structured discipleship programs.

Key Characteristics:

  • Passionate about Discipleship: Deep commitment to mentoring others in their faith journey.
  • Strong Listening Skills: Understands the needs and concerns of those being discipled.
  • Encouraging Mentor: Inspires and motivates individuals to deepen their relationship with God.

5. Training

Role Purpose: Provide training and resources for church members to develop their skills and knowledge for service.

  • Good Organizer: Plans and coordinates training sessions effectively.
